MAJOR FUNDERS & PARTNERS
IN FISCAL YEAR 2023, SECOND CHANCE CENTER WAS SUPPORTED BY THESE MAJOR FUNDERS:
“I spent 30+ years living the gang life and ended
up on parole. I was looking to change my life
and move into a career. I was connected with the
Second Chance Center, and I felt like family the
moment I walked through those doors. I began
working with The Park People and I feel like I am
finally able to give back.”

Finding a job is the most urgent need for returning
citizens. It is a requirement of parole, and a paycheck
is essential for finding and keeping a home. But many
jobs require specific clothing and tools that our clientpartners simply can’t afford. SCC maintains a stock of
hard hats, work boots, sturdy clothing and warm jackets
for outdoor work, and we also assist with special tools
and equipment.
