LETTER TO FRIENDS & PARTNERS
Dear Friends and Partners,
As we reflect on 2024, we are filled with deep gratitude for your steadfast partnership and the progress
we have made together. At Second Chance Center (SCC), every step forward in our mission to support
formerly incarcerated individuals as they transition into lives of success and fulfillment. is made possible
the unwavering commitment of our staff, partners, and supporters. This year has been a testament to the
resilience of our community and the power of second chances..
This year, we reached a transformative milestone with the groundbreaking of the Residences on Acoma.
This initiative represents more than housing, it is a foundation for dignity, stability, and possibility.
Because of your partnership, individuals re-entering society will soon have a safe and supportive place to
call home, giving them the stability they need to rebuild and move forward..
We also expanded our employment and career readiness programming. Through enhanced job training,
readiness workshops, and growing partnerships with local employers, we are equipping more individuals
with the tools to secure meaningful work and build economic independence. Your support has directly
fueled these pathways to employment, empowering people to earn, grow, and contribute to their
communities.
In 2024, we deepened our commitment to holistic reintegration,
recognizing that real success requires more than a job or a place to live.
Through wellness initiatives, behavioral health services, and substance use
recovery programs, we have supported hundreds of individuals on their
journey toward healing. With your help, these programs continue to meet
people where they are and move them closer to where they want to be.
Our mission at Second Chance Center remains focused and
unwavering:
To help formerly incarcerated people transition to lives
of success and fulfillment by providing them — and
those connected to them — with education, resources,
and support to successfully re-enter the community and
cultivate a rewarding life

Looking ahead, we see both opportunity and urgency. The need for
our work is growing, and so is our capacity to meet it. We are building
something bigger than a single program or a single year; we are
building a community rooted in justice, compassion, and possibility.
Your generosity has brought us this far, and with your continued
partnership, we will go even further.
You are not only helping individuals reclaim their lives, you are
reshaping the narrative of what is possible after incarceration. Thank you
for standing with us, investing in change, and helping us make second
chances a reality
With deep appreciation,
Robyn and Khalil
